PROJECT OVERVIEW
The existing four-way stop at Hammock Dunes Parkway and Camino Del Mar has been experiencing congestion for multiple years during peak travel periods. The DCDD has programmed this project for intersection improvements as part of ongoing efforts to improve traffic flow. Additional lanes for turning will be added along both legs of Hammock Dunes Parkway and along the eastbound leg of Camino Del Mar. Additional bicycle facilities will be added between the intersection and the bridge on southbound Hammock Dunes Parkway.
TRAFFIC INFORMATION
During construction, there will be temporary lane and shoulder closures to construct intersection improvements. Temporary lane closures will occur only during night-time hours, and work will be completed in phases to minimize construction impacts.
