SOCIAL DISTANCING REMAINS IN EFFECT TO PROTECT THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF OUR
COMMUNITY AND EMPLOYEES
The Dunes Community Development District Utility Division is suspending water service shut-offs for non-payment of District utility bills through July 1, 2020. These changes are part of the District’s efforts to ease the strain on District utility customers during widespread closures of schools and small businesses due to COVID-19. Utility accounts will still be assessed for accrued usage charges.
As reiterated by the U.S Environmental Protection Agency, America’s drinking water supplies remain a safe and affordable way to access the water needed for drinking, cooking and maintaining personal hygiene during the COVID-19 outbreak.
District customers should continue to use and drink water from their tap as usual as COVID-19 is not present in drinking water supplies. During this time, the District is asking its utility customers to use alternative payment options other than coming to the utility office to pay in person:
