IRRIGATION RULES & WATERING SCHEDULE

 COMPLIANCE REMINDER

THE LACK OF RECENT PERIOD RAINFALL HAS CREATED HIGHER THAN NORMAL RECLAIMED WATER DEMAND DUE TO EXCESSIVE IRRIGATION USE BY CUSTOMERS. THE INCREASE IN IRRIGATION DEMAND REDUCES OPTIMUM SYSTEM PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS (PRESSURE AND FLOW RATE) OF THE RECLAIMED IRRIGATION DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS WITHIN THE SERVICE AREA. THIS REDUCTION IN PERFORMANCE MAY ADVERSELY AFFECT YOU AND YOUR NEIGHBOR’S CAPABILITY TO EFFECTIVELY IRRIGATE YOUR LAWN AND LANDSCAPING. THE DUNES CDD UTILITY IRRIGATION STORAGE LAGOON WATER LEVELS ARE ALSO AFFECTED BY THE RECENT IRRIGATION DEMANDS OBSERVED. IN AN EFFORT TO AVOID HAVING TO IMPOSE PREVIOUSLY ESTABLISHED EMERGENCY IRRIGATION RULES, DUNES CDD IS REQUESTING THAT ALL CUSTOMERS UTILIZE A WATER CONSERVATION MINDSET AND, AS A MINIMUM, OBSERVE THE NORMAL (ODD / EVEN ADDRESS) IRRIGATION WATERING SCHEDULE CONTAINED IN THE DUNES CDD IRRIGATION RULES ( PDF | RTF).  THE DUNES CDD APPRECIATES IN ADVANCE YOUR COOPERATION WITH THIS SIGNFICANT RULE CONDITION.
